Terms of use

These terms govern use of the FDE Providers (“the platform”), operated by Magic Makers Lab (“we”). By using the platform you agree to them. If you are using the platform on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

1. What the platform is

The platform is a directory of AI deployment and forward deployed engineering providers, together with decision tools (matching, assessment, cost calculator, research). It helps buyers find and compare providers and helps providers be found. We are not a party to any contract between a buyer and a provider, and we do not deliver, supervise or guarantee any provider’s work.

2. Information and no advice

Provider information comes from public sources and provider submissions and carries a verification label that describes how it was checked (see the data and verification policy). Match scores, assessment results, cost estimates and research figures are generated from the data on the platform and the answers you provide. They are decision aids, not advice, quotes or guarantees. You remain responsible for your own due diligence and contracting.

3. Buyers

• You may use the tools free of charge for the purpose of finding and evaluating providers.
• When you submit a requirement or contact a provider, you confirm the details are accurate and that you are content for them to be shared as described in the privacy policy.
• Any engagement you enter with a provider is between you and that provider.

4. Providers

• You may submit or claim a profile only for a company you are authorised to represent.
• Everything you publish (descriptions, capabilities, pricing, case studies) must be accurate, lawful and yours to publish. Case studies must respect client confidentiality; link to a public source where one exists.
• We may edit for format, request evidence, apply or change verification labels, decline or remove a profile, or suspend an account where these terms are breached or content is misleading.
• Introductions you receive through the platform may be used only to respond to that buyer’s requirement.

5. Paid placement and subscriptions

Featured listings, sponsored content and subscription tiers are commercial services with their own order terms. Paid placement is always labelled and never changes verification status, directory ranking or match scores. We do not sell ratings, awards or “best provider” claims, and no placement may be described as one.

6. Content and intellectual property

The platform, its structure, taxonomy, tools and editorial content are ours or our licensors’. Research figures may be quoted with attribution to the FDE Providers and a link. You keep ownership of content you submit and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, format and index it on the platform and in aggregate research for as long as it is published.

7. Acceptable use

Do not scrape the directory at scale, submit false or misleading information, impersonate a company, attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls, or use the platform to send unsolicited marketing. We may block access where this happens.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features, and we may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform is provided “as is”. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any provider or buyer, for decisions made in reliance on information or tools on the platform, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Magic Makers Lab is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
